After the 2016 Local Government Elections, new Ward Committees in all wards will be established through a democratic process. The process will commence by inviting nominations from community organisations, businesses and active citizens. Nominations to serve as a Ward Committee Member for the 2016 – 2021 term should be submitted at your nearest Municipal Office or Library from 1 June 2016 to 31 July 2016. Full details with regards to this process will be published in the local newspaper (HomeAds News) of 31 May 2016. Nomination forms will be available at all municipal offices and libraries.
