SPORTS FESTIVAL FOR DOGGIES TOO!

A doggy event has become a tradition at the Mossel Bay festivals of recent years and the Mossel Bay Sports Festival from 1 October 2015 to 8 October 2015 will be no exception as the town’s dogs will get their day on Saturday, 3 October 2015 at Santos Beach.

The special Sports Festival Doggy Walk is organised by the Garden Route SPCA Mossel Bay and its theme will be: “Put Spring in Your Step.” Proceeds from the event will be in aid of the SPCA.

Registration will start at 13:00 at the parking area at Santos Beach and the entry fee will be R10 per human and R20 per dog. The dog owners or handlers are invited to dress up for the occasion and prizes, including Sports Festival medals, can be won.

Ms Retha Havenga, liaison officer of the SPCA in Mossel Bay can be contacted at (044) 693-0824 for more information on the doggy walk.
