MEDIA RELEASE: MOSSEL BAY'S FIRST ARTS FESTIVAL CALENDER IS HERE

The community of Mossel Bay is invited to make history by taking part in the town's first art festival officially kicks off on 19 July. The Mossel Bay Arts Festival, which offers a wide variety of activities, is facilitated by the Mossel Bay Municipality and presented in collaboration with the arts community of the greater Mossel Bay. The festival comes to an end on 3 September, just before the start of the Mossel Bay Sports and Recreation Festival, which has been in existence for the past 10 years.

During these festivals, the municipality offers the use of all their facilities free of charge and also provides logistical support where necessary. The municipality also contributes to the marketing of the festival.

Festivals are part of the municipality's efforts to boost the local economy and to make a contribution to healthy, uplifting togetherness within the community.

For convenience, each day’s events have been placed on a separate page making it easy to plan your diary. Print or screenshot the day, or days of your choice, or the whole thing – share it with friends on social media, put it on your fridge or notice board, or place it in your diary – whatever your preference is. Just make sure that you DON’T miss out. Please bear in mind that the calendar may change, depending on the organiser’s individual events, but updates will be done. New events may also be added – so make sure you check social and other media regularly. ENJOY THE FESTIVAL AND SUPPORT THE ARTS!
